After an evening of inspiration at home I decided I needed to shoot something the next day. Hard pressed to find a stylist in such short notice I decided to give it a go myself. Free props are best so I started pulling the tapestries off my walls, dried flowers out of vases and jars of salt from my kitchen counter top. Styling made me feel like a painter pushing colors and textures around my image. Shooting alone made me question my light in a more critical and thoughtful way. It was a blast. Here, here to days spent creating, meditating and image making!
