Interior Design and Architecture

My introduction to photography came at a young age when we were living in Texas. My dad who was a professor of Architecture at Texas A&M dragged us around the state so that he could photograph every court house. I specifically remember complaining with a deep southern drawl that classic kid phrase, “I’m boooorrrrred.” It was at that point my dad tossed me one of those flat rectangular Kodak cameras and let me explore. I won’t say that I was immediately drawn into architecture photography but after years of honing my craft with lighting and composition I have found a certain mature respect to this genre and the true professionals who know how to capture spaces so precisely. I was given the pleasure of working with Bay Area interior designer Aida Kaspar on one of her remodels and captured a nice representation of this beautiful blue kitchen. Here’s hoping more of these opportunities come my way because I truly enjoy understanding all corners of photography.
